About Bespoke Dressmaking and Fashion Alterations

I founded Bespoke Dressmaking and Fashion Alterations after working for many years producing stunning historical and modern costumes for professional theatre, opera, TV and film.

During my career I have also had the privilege to work with private clients creating their dream outfit for that special day or event.

My goals, ambitions, inspirations are out of a desire to help people, I have formed a truly amazing company that I am really proud of.

As well as studying historical and modern dress design and making I have studied professional  styling, and use this knowledge to make all commissions as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible.  I can advise on how the new garment could fit into the client’s current wardrobe, the best choice of fabrics, the care of clothes and how they might be restyled, using accessories and change of features to give them longer life.
